Greg Marcantel, CEO
Gregory N. Marcantel, CPA, is CEO and Chair of the Executive Committee of Better Day Health. He received a BS in Economics from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1974. He has been an accountant since 1976 and received his CPA certification in 1991. Marcantel served as the mayor of the City of Jennings for 14 years and has continued to serve as the financial adviser of the City of Jennings and numerous other governmental entities. Greg has a long history of involvement in the medical industry that includes the ownership and management of imaging centers, medical billing companies, and the operation of numerous private clinics. He is currently the financial adviser to numerous healthcare-related businesses.

Amy Wondolkowski, COO
Amy Wondolkowski is a healthcare professional with over 18 years of experience in physician enterprise management, healthcare system operations, program development and strategic business development. Throughout her career, she held roles at Bronson Healthcare Group, Spectrum Health System, Mercy Health Physician Partners and received specialized clinical training in Orthopedics, Spine & Neurosciences through the Mayo Clinic. Amy earned her B.S. in Human Biology & Chemistry from Eastern Michigan University and Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy & Healthcare Management from Grand Valley State University.

John Noble, Jr., MD, is President of the Board of Directors of Better Day Health. He is originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana, and earned his undergraduate degree from McNeese State University in Lake Charles. He received his Medical Degree and completed his orthopaedic residency at LSU Medical School – New Orleans. He also completed a fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Noble has over 20 years of private practice experience. He joined the Center for Orthopaedics in 2000. As an investor and board member of Better Day Health Dr. Noble is following his interest in helping develop improved business tools for providers and hospital systems.

Gary B. Ferguson is a distinguished leader who for more than 30 years has delivered hypergrowth and transformational value through discovery, innovation, strategic planning, and execution within the healthcare industry. Gary is a high-level executive—served as CEO (6X), Chairman and Member of the Board of Directors, Chief Revenue Officer, President, Thought Leader, and Public Speaker. He has been consistently sought after for a valued combination of strategic business perspective, disciplined financial analysis, shrewd market insight, leadership boldness, and masterful execution of business initiatives—building a personal reputation as a turnaround expert and agent of positive change in an industry with an uncharted future. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of California at Davis and a Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Southern California.

Stephen Van Hook, Board Member
Stephen Van Hook, PT, is co-founder of The Therapy Center in Jennings, LA. He has served as a healthcare provider and healthcare executive since graduating from LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, LA with a degree in Physical Therapy in 1996. His background includes more than twenty years of experience on both the business and clinical sides of healthcare, including contract care (acute and inpatient rehab hospitals, home health, nursing home) and outpatient, sports medicine clinics. His experience in business operations, administration, marketing, and information systems in addition to new business development and start-ups have been contributing components to the success of The Therapy Center. Professionally, he is a member of APTA-PPS, LPTA, HFMA, NASL, and NARA allowing him to stay at the forefront of healthcare changes to enhance service delivery and regulations. Stephen’s commitment to community involvement includes service as city councilman and president pro tem for the city of Jennings, LA and former Finance Chairman and President of a local school board. He has also participated in meetings and presentations to members of both the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives.

Donald Bauman, Jr., Board Member
Donald H. Bauman, Jr. is Chief Executive Officer of Isabel Healthcare, Inc. Bauman joined Isabel in April 2010 and brought with him more than 30 years of experience in healthcare software sales and marketing activities. In his recent tenure in healthcare safety solutions, Don has served as vice president of sales and marketing for InformMed, a provider of innovative medication safety solutions, LMS Medical, a leading provider of obstetrical decision support solutions, and Cereplex Inc., an early stage market innovator in automated infection prevention solutions. He currently serves on the board of Better Day Health, an innovative EMR company and advises several other start-up organizations. His experience includes direct sales, numerous area and national sales leadership roles, product marketing and partnership development at Premier, Inc., Bridge Medical, McKesson, CliniCom and Community Health Computing. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan.

Andre duPlessis, Board Member
Andre duPlessis, MHA, has 20 years of senior level healthcare management experience as a hospital executive. He served in academic medicine as Chief Operating Officer of Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. He was incident commander at the Tulane Lakeside Hospital during Hurricane Katrina. duPlessis also served as COO of Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center, Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, and COO of ICON Eyecare based in Denver, CO. He currently is a Financial Adviser at Centennial State Financial in Denver. duPlessis completed his B.S. at The University of Texas at Austin and his M.H.A. from Tulane University.

David E. Marcantel, JD, received his B.S. from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1971, and his Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University in 1976. He has been admitted to the Louisiana Bar and the U.S. District Court, Western District of Louisiana, in 1976. Since 2002, David has served as the Chief Public Defender for the 31st Judicial District of Louisiana. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Jefferson Davis Parish Bar Association and the Louisiana Public Defenders Association. He has also been a state licensed title insurance Broker/Producer since 1982. David has engaged in the general practice of law since 1976, and specializes in Bankruptcy, Criminal Law, Successions, Wills, Estate Planning, Real Estate Sales, Mortgages and Donations.
